RE: Mitchell gone.

Great special teams player will be missed. Hope that someone can step up and replace him.

This is one player I was hoping we'd get back...has anyone heard how Bellamy's rehab has been going? Does he have another year in him? He might be a good back up to Bullocks...or do we draft a safety this year? Mitchell was a 5th rounder so there's a chance a good special teamer can be found in the later rounds...but I like him...especially before the Dolphins QB blew out his knee with a very cheap shot. I thought the guy should have been suspended for the year.

Mel Mitchell a Patriot

Just in case y'all didn't see this. This was on the same page that said we are talking about trading Stallworth. So Mel Mitchell is no longer with us, I guess we don't have to worry about him getting injured anymore.

I hate that we lose this cat, but it's just the way it is. Hope he gets a chance with them. Was def. a good special teamer...but I think with Smith, Bellamy and Bullocks, he saw the writing on the wall. Pats need a young kid to come in and take over.

So do we shoot for a kid in the draft? or are we set with what we got now?
