McNair Treatment
Just a little time filler while waiting on the draft . . . Can you imagine the fall out if Green Bay treated Farve like the Titans are treating McNair. I am not sure if Green Bay or professional football would survive the fall out. What do you think?

RE: McNair Treatment
Favre would've been benched any other place, but since he is the QB for the Green Bay Packers and John Madden has a crush on him and made him a legend before Favre leaves the game, we have to suffer through the soap opera that is his decision. The Packers have not done anything with Favre since 1996. I think that, even though they won't admit it, people in Green Bay are hopinghe calls it quits. He's holding a whole franchise hostage. Favre says he's hoping the team gets better, well, I bet they are hoping to have a QB who doesn't throw 6 picks in a game.
Now, I don't have anything against Favre, and I love how he played the game, and I say "played" because he's not even close to his mid 1990's form, but enough is enough. |

RE: McNair Treatment
tobias is his team as close as it was in that time you talk about. nothing in this game is on one man. the attention to his decision is getting on my nerves as well. i think he should call it quits but are you saying that they will be better without him next year. that is a complete untruth. there is noone to take over. never mind the fact that he playe without his best wideout last year and for a while couldn't find a running game. then their d has sucked for some years. come on bro. there is more to blame then just him. what is happening with mcnair makes me sick. the guy has bled for that team. he has played more then hurt. it is silly and ridiculous and that owner needs to be removed.

Can't drop that far from 4-12... tell you what, if he's so great, let's see him make his team better and pull an 8-8 9-7 with what The Packers got.
Last year he was horrible. He was throwing some misguided bullets out there, but apparently no one dares tell him so; instead, everyone puts in on the receivers: they don't run the routes, they can't catch, etc., yet trying to force a ball between 3 defenders is not any receivers fault. |

RE: Re: RE: McNair Treatment
he did throw some absolutelt terrible balls last year. as a matter of fact i have been saying that he has been throwing more int's for a while. looked at the last couple of playoff games. that said i am wondering how much that has to do with trying to win. that team has nothing. with javon hurt and then i even think ferguson wasa hurt for part of the year last year too. so you lose two of your three top wideouts. didn't driver go down too for some time? i am bnot positive but i think he did. there is only so much you can do. this is a team game and the people that put wins and losses on one player are delusional. i am not a huge favre fan. really am not. i think he gets way to much credit. i think he is more then on the downside of his career. his poor play though is in part to the team around him. no qb has ever been able to win on his own
