2. New Orleans Saints

A.J. Hawk, LB, Ohio State: They will try to trade out of this spot to a team wanting a quarterback, but if they are stuck the choice it will likely be between North Carolina State defensive end Mario Williams and Hawk. The value is there on Williams, but they have Charles Grant and Will Smith. How many ends do you need? Hawk makes more sense.

Thank you for at least looking at the depth chart before you start writing Pete Prisco. I really fail to see why the national media has us so enamored with Mario Williams. Unless maybe the FO is putting out a pretty thick Super Mario smokescreen.

By the way, when was the last time the national focus was riveted on "what are the Saints going to do in the draft?" There are some things I wish we had done in free agency, but on the whole, kudos to the FO for forcing every other team in the league to account for what we do. Loomis has really put us in the driver's seat for the draft.

I love the Hawk pick, but I just don't see us, or anyone, taking Hawk as high as #2.
