Why hasn't anyone said.......
Why hasn't Ngata's name come up??? We all know DT is a pressing need, and all we have talkd about is LB, OT and even DE has come up...how da hell do we need a DE??? I kno Williams is a beast, but how much of a beast is he gunnna be playing 50% of the defensive reps??? I think I've heard a reason to pick every player but him, whats the deal?? did i miss something??? is everyone still deathly afraid of selecting a DT in the 1st round???? The guy had ONE injury his sophomore year, and came back and proved nothing was wrong by having to solid years. His huge, 6"6, 335lbs, and his coaches say his best attribute is his intellegence. It says he's a quiet, good natured athlete. Picking him up around the 8-10 spot is right around where he will go. read the link, and tell me what im missing???

RE: Why hasn
Whodi has actually been talking this guy up, and I agree that he's a very good player at one of our biggest positions of need, but he just doesn't warrant a top 5 selection.

RE: Why hasn
I say we trade down, to around the 8 thru 10 spot, pick up some picks and maybe a player. Maybe we get a lil luck with Karma, got screwed moving up to take a DT, maybe by trading down to get one we will please the Gods....who knows...but DT is one of the few places that hasnt been addressed......and with the reports of Sully being fat AGAIN, i dont have much hope for that position......

RE: Why hasn
I've seen him play a lot. He will be a good player. I wouldn't argue the pick. As far as value, I'd take Mania Brown out of BYU. Guy is going to be a second or third round pick and has a lot of upside.

We actually have picked up Woodard who until the last one/two season(s), was a full-time starter with the Seahawks. But you're right, we need to address that position, and I wouldn't be mad at all if we dropped down to 8-10 and took Ngata and got some extra picks.

Yeah, never lived up to his potential. Guy is a stud though. Most reports have him going in the third

I like Woodard, hes a Texas boy, but i dont think Young is much of an answer at DT...I'd like 2 new guys there..but then again, im reading articles about how our scheme was the big problem behind the middle of the line, not all of the blame goes to the players.....so im not too sure.....
