I think it was Green Bay he was talking about. They have the most cap room.

I know the so-called experts will question whatever direction the Saints go. But reality is sitting where they are, there are many choices and all have merits. They can easily stay where they are and draft anyone of the top five players and do well. What's at stake is can they maximize the opportunity by getting one of them and getting an extra pick or two. I wouldn't be upset if they chose Lienart...why? Because Brees' contract is insane next season. He would have to have an incredible season this season for the Saints to live up to the second year as is...Lienart as an understudy (which I don't think he'd mine since he did the same thing under Palmer at USC) isn't a bad deal. Picking Ferguson isn't a bad idea either...to have bookend tackles for the next several years will help make anyone we have at QB and RB look awfully good. Picking Hawk isn't a bad idea either...we need an impact player on that side of the ball big time...having him on the same side as Smith will give opposing tackles nightmares all season long. Super Mario isn't a bad idea either...how would you like to have a player on the other side from Smith with Julius Peppers' type ability? The Saints can't goober this one up no matter what they decide to do...it's going to be very intersting to see how they handle it. Call me the eternal optimist if you like but we could very well pull off what the Falcons did two years ago...worst to first isn't out of the realm of possibility because this team wasn't as bad as its record from a personnel point of view. If the coaching staff can come together and get buy in from the players, it's going to be a good year to be a Saints fan.

Green Bay or Denver are my picks to move up. Green Bay I believe would settle for Young and Denver wants Elway back so they will make a move in my opinion to get Leinart away from a few other teams.

Let's not curse this year's draft just yet, o.k. LOL |
