RE: saints interested in bears linebacker
Interesting... don't know much about the guy. Did he start in Chicago? Ulracher, Briggs, and was he the other guy? If so, I wouldn't mind... whatever would help us get over the hump.

I haven't checked into this so I'm not positive but I think that he was a pretty decent backup for the Bears.
I'm just geeked that the Saints have been going after LB's this off-season. Jim Haslett, former linebacker, had some of the weakest linebackers in Saints history. What's that about? LB isn't the most important position on a football team but it's by far my favorite. The Dome Patrol made that happen. Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice; Danno, Lumm0x, and Whodat continue to sleep... |

Though the Bears have more pressing needs, it wouldn't be a total shock to see them draft a linebacker in the first round if they see an opportunity for value. The team is not confident that it will be able to re-sign Pro Bowl WLB Lance Briggs after next season, and there is no depth right now behind the starters, even if restricted free agent Hunter Hillenmeyer is re-signed, as expected
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/teamRep...gyAndPersonnel 6-4/238, Not to bad love the size. My question is why did he miss the last 3 games of the year? He did make it back for panthers game though. Remember his teacher is Brian Urlacher. he is listed by some as Brains back up. others have him at starting SLB. |
