NFL | Bradshaw won't take over as host

The Austin American-Statesman reports when James Brown left FOX for CBS, there was speculation that Terry Bradshaw might slip over to the host's chair on "Fox NFL Sunday," but it doesn't appear as though that is going to happen. Ed Goren, Fox Sports president and executive producer, told Sirius Satellite Radio: "I love Terry. He is the old straw that stirs the drink. But there isn't enough alcohol in Los Angeles for me to consume if I had to produce a show with Terry being the bandleader."

I too agree that they are doing Bradshaw wrong. Bradshaw is totally first class, and yes, he does sell. It would be in Bradshaw's best interest to leave FOX the first chance he gets. I do not know what his contract status is, but once it's up, he should be able to cash in big time by going to a network who actually cares about him.

well who cares really. how are they doing the guy wrong? i am pretty sure his check is sweet either way so i think terry will be just fine

His checkis prolly real nice (nicer than mine anyway), but to dime a guy out like that? Terry is a class guy and should at least have gotten the old stand-by of "we are considering all of our options"

....I mean, they could just get jimmie johnson to wear that hair he had for a couple of weeks and try the anchor gig....that could be fun

big don't get lost in the quote that is not the actual quote. meaning do not get caught up in the idea that everything you hear is reality. things are taken out of context all the time. from what was said i would absolutely asume the man was joking and that that was probably eveident if you heard everything he said. instead what we hear or see is whatever is being reported. the news is exciting because if it isn't no one will listen. the whole point for them is to get peple to tune in.

I figured it was a joke, but didn't caveat the reply. my bad. trust me, news is what I do..I never go with some quote or sound bite...that's a great way to make yourself look like an ass****

and trust me 25, the last thing I do is live in reality. How else do you live as a saints fan!!?
