this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; if the Saints don't pick, the players you want them to pick? I do not know about the players enough to have a choice, I just believe in the team to get the players they think will help them win. ...

Will you be upset...
if the Saints don't pick, the players you want them to pick? I do not know about the players enough to have a choice, I just believe in the team to get the players they think will help them win. So, I won't be upset no matter who they pick. But, I notice that many of you believe they should pick certain players, and I was just curious to know, if you will be extremely unhappy if they don't pick the player you like? I am still rooting for the team, even though I am a Aaron Brooks fan. Will you all still root for them, if they do not choose any player you wanted?

This is one of the deepest drafts in recent memory. I will be happy with the first pick as long as they don't draft a lineman, linebacker or wide receiver. Or a safety, or a cornerback or a tight end. and especially a kicker. I hate kickers.

It's okay to have a preference, but I think most everyone knows there are several players who could help this team. Personally, I pray we get Hawk. But there are several guys I would be very happy to have in a Saints uni. My main no nos are Vince Young, Mario Williams, and Jay Cutler. I would lose it if we chose one of those guys.

Whodi I'll agree on Williams, but prefer the other two over you boy at QB. But regardless I still think the position needs to be adressed.
As long as the picks are not wasted away, ie traded away for injured players or prospects, I'll be happy |

1) give thanks on All Saints day to make the season easier to digest.
2) I still have that old saints jersey from 1967 # 31 and plastic helmet bought at MB downtown by my dad 3) we traded our 1st #1 pick overall to the Baltimore colts for hmm i forgot...they got Bubba Smith and we got Alabama FB Leslie Kelley with our first pick. That says it all. No matter what the FO has done I have never missed a kick off from John Gilliam's 94 yarder to today. We live and die with the black and gold. Oh buy the way I have an original brown bag up for sale now. Taking bids on EBay. |

The biggest picks have already been made, i.e., the coaching staff, so whoever they pick is not going to make me unhappy. I'd prefer it is Hawk or Brick they pick, but... |

Hmmm...
I'm not sure that they've taken a guy in the first round that I really wanted them to take in many years. Draft selections are not the sort of thing that I get too upset about. Poor on-field performance for a whole season (or several seasons)... that on the other hand ticks me off. |
