On The Night Before Christmas.....
As a Saints fan, right now, I feel like a kid the night before Christmas. I don't know what to expect, or even if I'll like what I receive under the tree. Will it be some wasted gift, or should I look at it as something else nice added to the toy collection. I guess I'll have to wait untill Sunday night to see what the fat man brought me.
If it's a brand new "Super" Mario Williams, I won't be mad at all. In fact, I'll be really happy, even though I already have a few of those that still work! If it's a brand new Reggie Bush, I'll be excited even though I'm not really sure how I would play with it. I'm sure it would be fun, and look really nice, but, could the gift money be better spent? If it's a brand new A.J. Hawk, I'm sure I'd be happy, but I'd be hoping my parents didn't spend Sak's Fifth Avenue prices when they probably could have gotten a little bit cheaper. If it's a brand new D'Brickashaw Ferguson, I might not be jumping for joy as it isn't the sexiest gift in the world, but I'll probably be able to use it for the next 10 years without issue. Couldn't be mad at that one tho. I still play with my Atari too! One thing I know for sure is that I won't be getting a brand new Matt Leinart, Vince Young, or Jay Cutler. I already got a brand spanking new Drew Brees for my birthday, and tho it's in the shop right now, they say it will be as good as new very shortly! Looks like whatever I get for Christmas this year will be nice, even though I don't have a clue what it will be right now. It might not even be on my list, but chances are, it will become one of the centerpieces of my toy chest. |

Seriously, I had a dream last night that the Texans took Bush, we traded down to #3, and then we selected a fullback. I almost vomited in my sleep.
