It isn't a precise science but not quite a crapshoot either. I do heartily agree that we give the new regime full support in whatever decision they make though. So far, it has been so good. Any of the top 7 players have the potential to make a huge immediate impact. Some are riskier than others. Some I have personal preference for more than others. Whether it is Mario, D'brick, Hawk, or whoever I will be expecting great thngs. I wouldn't even mind trading out of the upper first round completely and stockpiling multiple picks into the third round. It's a new era for the team, a new start for NOLA altogether. Makes some trades, go out on the limb for a player... but it has gotta have results. No more same old same old style of failure year in and year out. After that first playoff win it seemed like an eternity of mediocrity characterized by erratic and undisciplined performance. I'm thankful the punctuation mark finally came to end that run on sentence of failure. Hopefully in five years from now everyone will be calling NO Payton's Place after continued success. Saturday will be a major cornerstone for that to be built on.
