Rome was trying to get a sense as to the likelihood of the Saints drafting a qb with the second pick. Since Payton confirmed that Loomis has the last word, it was clear from his tone that we won't be selecting a qb in this year's draft if he had his way. He was noticeably perky and emphatic about Brees' potential to perform at least as well as he did before the injury.
