the play maker said it best to me.
one thing i like about mike is that he says it the way it is. i don't always agree with the guy but he speaks how he actually feels. he said if you watched bush in high school you said wow. if you watched bush in college you said wow. why would it be any different in the nfl. then he said if you watched mario at the beginning of last season you didn't say wow. i think mike thinks he could be a bust too and that he is hype.

RE: the play maker said it best to me.
i really think the texans may really regret this one day... especially if domanick davis goes down... but to their credit, they had the balls to say we're going to get better in needed areas and rejected just taking the status quo no. 1 guy.... yesterday, before this developed what the saints should do was a lot clearer... but now, what do you do? do you draft and trade a guy that could be dominant for years to come to select other good players or do you take him and make a spot for him and try to help the rest of your need areas with limited picks? tough call...

chris i think they said we don't want to pay this kid. that is all that happened there. same with what happened with miami who then came out about how they were worried about bree's shoulder. now you are hearing how peppper might be the one not to play. they just didn't want to pay even though they did give mario a huge amount of money. i think bush wanted a little more

i don't think it was the money... it looks like it to all of us on the outside of the texans' FO, but the amount of money from the #1 to #2 picks isn't going to be that substantial to pass on a player like reggie bush... there must be something else to it... i really feel bad for reggie bush with this news of his family and that house coming out when it did... i really did cost him in the end, even if it is extortion on michael micheals' part.... off subject, i hope they (the NCAA) bury USC for this reggie bush thing... i hate those c#cksuckers...

i don't hate usc but what really needs to happen is there needs to be a way for these guys to earn money. a lot of them are coming from really poor areas. they should let them sign endorsements
plus notre dame is going to mop them up when we play them this year |

how many students (not student athletes) come from really poor areas? plenty... should they get paid? if not why not? b/c they can't run fast, or throw far, or jump high? that's rediculous... they are getting paid... they are getting free mother f#cking tuition from a college of their choice!!!! you know how much i owe to get my education?! they should get a stipend of spending money, but that should be included in the scholarship and only b/c they don't have time for class, practice, and jobs...

RE: the play maker said it best to me.
oh you are bitter chris because you don't offer the college anything like these kids do. because you just like me are a regular person with nothing special about you. i know that is hard to except. the fact is they make a lot of money for the institution and should be compensated accordingly. i am not saying they should be paid but they should be able to sign endorsements.
you are bitter because they will make more money then you ever will and it is all because they have a talent you don't. life isn't fair bro so get over it and find what your talent is and turn it into a way for you to make money. your a big f-kng cry baby |
Your team stinks

Bush could easily turn out to be another LT...
We need to get it right on the OL, if they do we'll have one hell of an offense. (High scoring) |

RE: the play maker said it best to me.
no i'm happy with my career choice... but to pay them b/c they tote the rock? no thanks... i'd rather pay some geek that is doing research on a cure for cancer in the science lab... like i said, they should get a stipend, b/c then you'd see a sharp decline in the involvement with agents and alumni concerning money matters... but to pay a student athlete when technically he's already being given a free education and all the tools he'll need to suceed in life whether he/she is a success on the field is rediculous....

if they do... sucks that you have to include that word if in there... that's why we should take the steps to ensure ourselves of a great offensive line in this draft...
