saints-jets trade looming?!?!?!?!

is it me or do you think the saints will trade bush to the jets for brick and mangold and their third round pick, i keep thinkin after the jets took brick that the saints would wait and see if the jets can land mangold and so a trade can be done, cause if the saints had two picks, other teams would have known their goin for mangold and try to get him before the saints, so was everything a smoke screen......................?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I don't think we're trading Reggie. We traded down and got Faine. The FO seemed real excited to get Reggie and rightfully so. He's the best player in the draft. We don't have a need for center anymore and we had the opportunity to get a top tackle in mcneil or winston and we passed on both, making me think the FO is ok with our tackles. You were proposing Brick and Mangold and a 3rd rounder for Reggie. If we were smart we could have gotten Faine, McNeil and still have Reggie. Bush is going to be a Saint and I can't wait to him in black and gold

I doubt it. First there would be a revolt...second , we picked up a veteran center. It would be possible though if we didn't pick up Fayne (sp).

It is insane. A bit too much conspiracy theory there. Turns out that a lot of the smokescreens weren't really smokescreens. We said weeks ago if Bush was there we would take him.

I dont know about our defense, but with Bush, Brees, and Payton's system...our offense sure will be fun to watch.

I've got to admin, when I first saw NY take Mangold with #29, I wondered the same thing.... Are the Jets drafting to make a trade for Bush?..... but later, when I saw the Saints trade for Faine, I knew that wasn't going to happen (just as I'm sure everyone else saw).

Still, I noticed. And wondered for a little while.
