Saints | Faine excited for fresh start; still recovering from his injury

The Associated Press reports New Orleans Saints OC Jeff Faine (biceps) is excited to be getting a fresh start with the Saints. He came over in a draft-day trade with the Cleveland Browns. Faine missed the last two games last season after what he called a fluke injury when his right biceps snapped during a block. He had it surgically reattached with a screw in December. He said he was not sure if he would be cleared to practice in the Saints' next full-roster training session in June.

Im excited to have Faine. He seems to be a good, athletic center, hes young and he clogs a hole on our team. He's probably as good or better than Nick Mangold, who was much more expencive. I like this move.

Great pick-up, provided he heals completely (where have I heard that before). All it cost was to move down a few spots to get what should be the starting C. How can you complain about that!!! At 25 he can be the anchor of the line for years to come.
