RE: What r they thinking
This was on ESPN Insiders this morning regarding our lovely 2nd rd pick:
43. New Orleans Saints The pick: Roman Harper, DS, Alabama Scouts take: Taking Harper here isn't a good move. The Saints have far greater needs, and Harper doesn't have great upside. Though he is smart and plays with a non-stop motor, he doesn't have great athletic ability or size. If New Orleans wants to start grooming a possible replacement for the inconsistent and aging Jay Bellamy, drafting a safety with more potential would have made more sense. |

We give Philly this OG
http://nfldraft.rivals.com/cviewplay...scoutingreport and select a Div II player; http://nfldraft.rivals.com/cviewplay...scoutingreport This makes no sense at all...even if we got the DT. Damn, I know it is early, but I am going to start dipping into the George Dickel! |

All he could do was 20[b][u] reps @ 225 and we passed on a beast so that we could get a DT that has maybe one good year left? They must be using one of those magic 8 balls to make their decisions for them

He's going to be one of those hidden gems for us.
If I learned anything this draft, when it comes to the Saints, always expect the unexpected. |

I realy dont give a darn about what the scouts say, they are often way way wrong. I also dont care who benched what, it doesnt tell me anything about what they do on the football field.. However, why we gave the eagles that pick and missed out on a lineman is rediculous. I've overlooked it, like the Saftey move, but WTF? I'm not going to let it bother me, I am just hoping that the coaches and Loomis are outsmarting me and everyone else... Since I havnt seen this coaching staff involved in drafting before, I dont realy know.. but... I'm a little confused, especialy with this last move.

I don't think they really wanted to draft anyone. Hell, we could have just traded all of our picks for veteran players and called it a Draft!

I'll take the under achiever who over achieves who is also drafted in the correct slot.
