My Do Over Picks
I grade the draft a B. Nonetheless, here's my do-overs-
#34 to #43- I as GM would have taken Winston Justice, USC, OT. But understanding the new regime's emphasis on character I can understand the pass on him (as did 38 other chances to select). So, okay, do the Cleveland trade and get a center to pencil in. In that case at #43 I would have considered OT McNeil or Winston or CB Youboty or Marshall. My do-over: Take Faine and grab Youboty Bush, Faine, and Youboty and we go to #99 to #108- I don't think i would have traded the pick to add Hollis. I would have taken exactly who the eagles did in our spot, Max Jean-Gilles OG. Let's take the trades anyway and go do-over: I'd consider Jonathan Scott OT but with the probability of Dwight Smith departing I would go Ko Simpson FS South Carolina. If you must SS, then Bing or Lowry. #135- So far a RB, C, CB, and FS. Yikes, Scott is still available. Jonathan Scott OT Texas #171- Hass could be the BPA. As much as I have read and learned about him since Saturday I say ditto. #174- They grabbed a good corner for this spot but I already Have Youboty. So my do-over is- Babatunde Oshinowo DT Stanford #210- I gotta go ditto again on Zach Strief OT #252- RB, C, CB, FS, 2 OT & DT,... okay, let's get a LB and homey too, Cameron Vaughn OLB LSU Reggie Bush, RB USC Ashton Youboty, CB, O St *with Jeff Faine, C, Clev added Ko Simpson, FS, S Caro *with Hollis Thomas, DT, Phil Jonathan Scott, OT, Tex Mike Hass, WR, Ore St Babatunde Oshinowo, DT, Stan Zach Strief, OT, NW Cameron Vaughn, OLB, LSU Will you let me in the Draft room to advise next spring? What's my grade? Better or worse than Loomey? |

I don't know what to say. I think you did a great job, but I'd rather not spend that much time pondering on what could have been.

Since we were debating Harper as a reach again, hehe.
Who are yours? Just something to remember next spring. |

Wonderful job. Youboty is the way I would have gone to. I actually would have taken Youboty at #34. Vaughn in the 7th is kinda iffy, then again all 7th rounders are iffy. You were right about Haas and Streiff. Those are gonna be good picks I believe.
Your Grade: B- |

Abdul Hodge or D'Qwell Jackson at #34.
I was never all that impressed with Vaughn, and the one play that I'll ALWAYS remember him for (probably undeservedly so) is meeting that Tenn. RB at the 1yd line on 4th down in OT, got pushed back and that was the end of the game. He makes the stop and LSU wins. Oh, well. I think we just scored on Miami again. F the "U". |

D'Qwell much above Hodge IMO. If staying at #34 he would have been an excellent choice. 9 spots down for Faine i would not have passed on either. Youboty was just higher on my board than Harper at that point.
