NFL Players I Played Against
None LOL
It was a fun thread I read somewhere. Any of you play with or against any guys that made it to the NFL? High School or college? Memories? I did have a best bud that had his bicycle stolen in junior high from Johnny Hector, Texas A&M, Jets in the '80s. I always bugged him that he should have wrote to him to buy him a replacement. |

RE: NFL Players I Played Against
I played against Frankie Okam, DT for UT. He'll be drafted in a few years. Nobody too good though.

Played Randy Livingston when he was at Newman and I was at De La Salle in a tournament. Something not right about a kid who can dunk in 8th grade, and had been doing it for a couple of years.
Missed playing Peyton in football by a year or two when I went to public school after De La Salle. |

Whoops, for whatever reason, the fact this was only NFL players totally escaped me. Sorry.

Peyton Manning at Newman, Ike Hilliard at Patterson...yeah thats it...also watched Randy Livingston dunk all over us at our own gym...in fact, he made onto that show that used to be on ESPN...Scholastic Sports America...that was pretty cool.

I played with Kenneth Mixon (DT) for 4 years. The guy was 6'6"-265 lbs. in high school. Benched 475 lbs. & ran a 4.59 flat!!! I had the pleasure (actually displeasure) of playing against 3 RB's that made it to the NFL: (1) Kevin Faulk (though he was a QB in High School at Carencro). They ran the option with Kendall Cleveland as RB. They were murder! ; (2) Anthony Thomas (Good H.S. RB at Winnfield High) ; (3) But the best RB's I ever played against was Cecil "The Diesel" Collins (Leesville High School). When we played Leesville they had 3 pass plays the whole game & one of those was to Collins. Dude had like 330 yds. on like 52 carries. This guy would have been a great NFL RB if he could have kept his D**K in his pants. The dude had unbelievable skills, but he was about as smart as Vince Young.

I played against Steve Mcnair three times in highschool and not only was he good on the field, he was a nice guy to. I picked him off twice and my wife says thats my claim to fame. Also played against Walter Payton's nephew once don't know how far he went, but he was good

Steve Broussard, punter for Saints. Golden Gloves champ and came one fight away from the Olympics. One kick in the pants!
Lastly, Wendell Ladner, from the same area as Bret Farve, a BMF who went on to the NBA and was killed in an air crash. Mr. Hustle! |
