Years ago I bellied up to the bar next to Hornung in an Atlanta airport bar. He was piss-eyed and trying to talk two businessmen into hitting the local bars with him. Saying he would "call their wives and ask could they go out on the town with The Golden Boy".
Quite funny and sad at the same time. The fifteen or so minutes I sat there he must have had ten or twelve autograph requests. He graciously smiled and signed all. 8) |
