Good. I think this shows that our new regime is competent and can realize who the best player on the board really is. That being said, Reggie was the right pick.
And yet we didn't address the posistion in the 2nd rd that we were willing to with the #2 overall pick. That's what makes me want to drive my head through my new post Katrina sheet rock.

Payton said on WWL that LB was going to be addressed early in the draft...meaning Hawk, until Bush came around...then in the second round, he said getting a center and a pick was better for the team than taking D'Qwell Jackson.

I agree with getting the center part. However, I still think they blew it with Roman, no matter how much character this guy has in his body. We just really didn't need another safety, but we could have used a cornerback or linebacker or defensive tackle. They were in the right neighborhood when they went defense, but they picked the completely wrong house with a safety.

braylon edwards signed before ronnie brown did... so essentially it would be browns agent who messed up...

I'm just gonna throw this out there since seeing "D'Qwell" made me think of it...

Imagine Buddy D. saying either "D'Brickashaw" or "D'Qwell" in his radio broadcast....
