Amazing how the potential of making someone money is the ultimate reason for forgiveness... Gotta love the quote by Saban: "As an organization, we did an enormous amount of research, including consulting with professionals in detailed, in-depth analysis to feel comfortable that giving Marcus an opportunity as a free agent is a risk worth taking." ..what, did Nick read the Police APBs for the past couple years? |

RE: Fins replacing Cowboys as America
I'd criticize nearly every coach on taking Marcus Vick. For some reason, Saban seems to be one of the only exceptions in my book. This guy knows what he's doing. What he did with the Dolphins last year was amazing, and I believe that they're going to make the playoffs this year.
Maybe picking up Marcus Vick will be a bad decision, but it won't hurt his team much. He's an undrafted free agent. It could turn out to be a huge positive for the team if it works out, though. Regardless, the Dolphins are going to be a force with Saban at the reigns. Oh, by the way, I'm only a mediocre LSU fan. I'm not big on them. I'm a homer, but I can't name more than a player-or-two on the team. I just think Saban is an excellent coach. |
