Adrian McPherson
I was just thinking about McPherson, and an idea came to mind. Curious what you guys think of it. The guy is very athletic, with 4.5 40 times and he has good hands. When he was with the Arena League, he wowed a lot of people, scored 19 touchdows rushing, and was Rookie of the year, so OK ... Why don't we try utilizing him as an Antwan Randle El type receiver. If he has good hands, he should be able to catch the ball well then run like hell, and ocassionally you can use him in a trick play where he passes the ball and catches everyone on the defense off guard. So OK, let's her what you guys have to say about this idea.

Not a bad idea if you can get it to work. The only thing is I heard another knock on him in camp the other day. He got confused and line up with the defense behind Jonathan Sullivan. When Sully felt AMac's Hand on his butt, he turned around and ate him.

Very creative. I like that idea. Now...the real deal is....can he take a hit? I mean think about it...Qb's get sacked but if we Randle-El him then he has to run routs which means the possibility of him getting drilled by Db's and LB's. If he can handle that....then I like your idea.

If it means that we get some value out of keeping him on the roster by having him line up as a receiver, then great. Seeing no action for two years and being 4th on the qb depth chart doesn't really help this guy or the team much.

RE: Adrian McPherson
Not a bad idea, I too wonder if he could take the hits. I would really like to see the Saints send him to Europe next year. This guy needs playing time in a bad way. At least he should get some decent playing time in preseason. I guess it's between him and Bouman for the 3rd QB spot, at least for now.

RE: Adrian McPherson
its a good idea but what is the procedure for listing him as a wr because if he is listed as the 3rd qb and he comes in the game it would make him the qb the rest of the game correct?
