Saints surpass club season ticket record with almost 55,000
The Saints organization announced today that the club has surpassed its' all-time season ticket sales record with almost 55,000 sold four months prior to the start of the 2006 regular season.
As of Wednesday afternoon, season ticket sales had reached 54,969, a fact which pleased Saints Owner Tom Benson. "This year, thanks to passionate fans, a sensible ticket pricing manifest which makes season tickets affordable for every fan, and a devoted sales staff who have worked tirelessly, I am proud to that our greatest season ticket total ever, has been exceeded," Benson said during a press conference held in the club's indoor facility. http://www.neworleanssaints.com/news...articleid=2490 That's right, an article from the 'official' Saints homepage. |

RE: Saints surpass club season ticket record with almost 55,
Seeing his press conference I think it's about time he avoids public speaking. Well, it was probably time ten years ago, but still...
I don't know if it's the booze or old age, but the man is barely audible. |

That was funny to watch. don't think he'll stop trying to flash mic skills, but you are right...he should.
I sure wish I could contribute to the sales. Sucks to live on the other side of the country, but still trying to find ways to get to a game this year! |
