Nice Take On Harper
I had not seen this before if had been posted-
Harper is better known as “the other pick, the player the Saints selected after University of Southern California running back Reggie Bush and the player chosen instead of a linebacker, which is what most fans wanted. Harper, a 6’, 197-pound free safety, is what many call “a ball hawk. A player that seems to have a sense of where a play is going and puts himself in a position to make plays. In Monday’s workout, Harper made several correct defensive calls. He warned teammates that plays were coming their way and put them in the right spot. He also broke up several passes and created an interception by coming in and breaking up a completion, causing the ball to go in the air. The Alabama product said that being the “quarterback of the secondary is just what he has always done. “I’ve always been able to do that. Coaches have always put that in my hands, so I always need to make checks and just try to find everything, said Harper. “I’m just always trying to go 100% and give it all I can. More than half the time I’m right, so if you can find me, I usually am trying to go towards the ball. more here- http://www.wwl.com/Article.asp?id=218392&spid= |

I like the avatar A LOT more than the Harper pick. Telling rookies where to line up against other rookies and undrafted FAs is somehow not impressing me too much. Dunno what it could be..........................

I am going to give him a chance. He was the captain of a very very solid SEC defense. He is a coaches son. He is very intelligent. Let's see.
