The whole safety issue is old. Yeah we have a crap load of them but it's obvious that Payton wants to get his own guys in here, so he may very well trade our whole starting secondary from last year. Dwight Smith was already on the trading block, Fakhir is gone and even McKenzie isn't indispensible..

Face it Payton hates to see player drop passes. That is why Donte is still here. No real takers for a butterfingers.
Safties he has gotten are good enough to play CB. WE have #3 and #4 CBs within the safety corp. Upgraded the CB thru the safeties. There are very few WR that can take a hit in the NFL. They are like Donte, one hit and they blink the rest of the game. Mike is not going any where. he is in role of a #2 in the future and we will pick a #1 in the next 2 drafts. As for QB let Payton do his thing. looking does not hurt. We do not have a QB in NFLE so go for it. Great trade bait are what 3 and 4 QBs are. We still need a #2 for next year. |

I have not counted lately but rosters are usually over 80 bodies at the start of camp. It takes a lot of players to get in enough reps for everyone ya wanna see.
