LB Anthony Simmons
More on Simmons, probably old news....
Although he didn't play in 2005, LB Anthony Simmons is expected to start for the Saints this season. After a seven-year career with the Seahawks, Simmons found teams were cool to him because they questioned his attitude. The Saints, fearful of bringing in the wrong type of player at the start of coach Sean Payton's regime, had Simmons in for two days of interviews, then interviewed him for the better part of another day via telephone. Since Simmons signed in March, he has been working out with the team regularly and impressing coaches with his conditioning. The Saints hope they have unearthed a gem in the former first-round pick. www.sportingnews.com 8) |

If he is healthy, we are in for a treat, I lived in Seattle for the past 7 years and have followed him, and he has blazing speed and hits like a mack truck. the big IF, if he stays healthy hes a freakin beast.

All we can do is cross our fingers and hope he stays healthy. The same can be said for Brees, Deuce, and even Bush. Hey Shawn as a BOEING employee I spent my fair share of time in Seattle. I wouldn't be surprised if we walked past each other once or twice.
