FoxSports Off-Season Power Rankings

#30 Saints

At least one of the FO staffers believes that if Drew Brees is healthy, the Saints can ride his arm, Reggie Bush's legs, and a couple games of emotional home-field advantage to a 7-9 record. The rest of us humbly disagree.

Man, you gotta think Carolina is gonna be wicked bad (as in good) offensively. Scary. Smith and Keyshawn at wideout. Folks seem to be high on WR Drew Carter's potential, as well. If Foster can stay healthy and Goins dependable while DeAngelo Williams gets cranked up....

My, oh my.

Im not sold on Carlolina, and just because they have Keyshaun...... Muhhamed was 5 times the reciever that Keyshaun is, and we still have them figured out. I seriously think we will be untouched in our division, We cant base what we believe off last year, EVERY SINGLE Thing about our new Saints is up in the air, we dont know JACK SHT about the style of football we are going to play, and it still feels better than the last 10 years. The excitement is 50 times more to the players and the fans than it was last year, there is NOO possible way we can be crushed, The sooner Payton can figure out how to confuse Defenses using our new system and players, the sooner we will have everyone scratching thier heads. I really feel we are going to come out gelling like they have all worked together for 3 years. The ONLY that worries me is WILL THE OFFENSIVE LINE allow us to run the plays we want. If our D can hold up as good, or better than last year we shouldnt have any problems, Think about it, we only got blown out in the Green Bay game. and allot of our collapses that led to loses, were the players emotionaly drained and unprepared.

When life hands you lemons, hand them to your wife so she can make you some damn lemonade.. and hurry up woman!!!

I am from New Mexico, but I live in Seattle, and as much as I hate the Seachickens and ALL of thier fans, they have a damn good club. I am forced to follow the Hawks here and they sure have everything clicking. They keep showing on TV, the replay of Stallworth getting rocked and his helmet flying up 20 yrds in the air and it makes me SICK. and that game was 3 years ago. My family flew up from NEw Mexico for that game and those iggnorant bandwagon fans treated my ol man and the rest of us so bad, we were fighting the whole game and didnt get to enjoy the blowout they gave us.

BURN SEATTLE ..... BURN

Another crackhead. Seattle #1. Two words 4 u--Steve Hutchinson. Philly #9. Come on man. Bottom half team with no chemistry. Saints will finish in the top 5. Pass me another beer!

I dont read anything into preseason rankings...The Saints arent going to get much respect, but why should they? Let the season start and lets see what we have before we get all worked up. I do not see the Saints being in the top 10 or the bottom 10 this year.

Well we finished the season last year with 3 wins. Just because we change coaches and draft possiby the best half back in the history of college football doesnt mean that we should be rated any higher than the way we finished last year. This is football a game of pure desire and passion..... something that we have not shown in the last five years. We have been the leagues lolli gaggers and the best pick you up only to slam you down right when you think we are going to do something team. I think we need to earn our place in those polls and rating charts. You cannot judge a book by its cover. makes no difference if we had the best O line in the NFL or the best corners....fact is last year we were horrible and rightfully so we will not be rated high until we prove that we deserve to be there. I want to see the dome full at every home game this year. I would love to hear alot more fans getting into the game even when all is lost. Anything can happen on any given Sunday so dont be alarmed by sports writers and polls that mean nothing because there have been no kick offs at this point. Everything is pure speculation. As fans we need to go out and give the boys are full support and let them play ball knowing that we are fully behind them win lose or draw.
