Culpepper and Harrington
Saban is a TOOL !!
Saban said Harrington has "been a real asset" and defended the decision to trade a sixth-round pick in 2007 to Detroit even though the Lions were planning to release Harrington for salary-cap purposes http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2477250 He cant really think Harrington added anything to the roster..... Am I wrong about Harrington or does he just plain stink it up? I mean as a coach, its his job to pretend he backs a QB. But if Donte goes down, is Harrington supposed to step in and provide anything but loses?? |

I think if Harrington is going to make himself into a ballplayer, he is in the right place to do it. It is kind of hard to adjust to the NFL when you have 3 different offensive coordinators in 4 years...so i guess we'll see.

Never really hated Joey. Three WR at #1 for three years though makes you think. Those WR are all on the hot seat there in one way or another. He will be the best #2 in the NFL IMO. 2 to 3 years of good coaching will do wonders for his game. at least he will be great trade bait down the road or a much better starter when he steps in for Donte. Sure there will be a drop off at first when he steps in. But as time goes by the drop will be less and less. The guy needs some good coaching that all. he was thrown in to quickly and well Detriots coaching has been as bad Hazs.

Here's the deal: Saban has an NCAA National Championship. Took the 4-12 Dolphins and made them the 9-7 Miami Dolphins with Gus Frerotte as QB winning their last 6 games on a row. ..yep, a tool indeed. |
