nothing more than a 3rd down back. Albeit, a good 3rd down back.

He should be a decent return man... we pretty much have our third down back in Bush now. His job was stolen! He makes excellent depth for us and makes Bennett more expendable.

Between Deuce, Bush and Bennett, RB is pretty well covered, as far as return guy, Beerman, Bethel Johnson, or one of our 143 WR'S can take care of that. Anyone who would want to keep him is a packrat. I bet all these guys that want to keep him still have bell bottoms in their closet.

I got a feeling Bennett will be traded before the seasons starts and we going to need Stecker.

Stecker is expendable and probably should be cut imo. Even if we trade Bennett. Bush can handle the third down stuff, and if both Bush and Duece get hurt , having Stecker won't be enough to change anything seasonwise.

If Deuce hadn't been hurt, I'd say cut him, but I am not altogether sure that Deuce is going to be what he once was this year ... or maybe ever. For that I say keep Bennett, but I also suspect Bennett will be traded before the beginning of the season. The Saints are not just going to give him away, however. If a certain value is not met, they will keep him. I hope I am wrong about Deuce but the odds are against him. Deuce on the other hand is the kind of guy that would relish in making the naysayers eat their words. In the meantime, all we can do is wait and watch.
