Bush is in top shape and form so as conditioning is concerned, we really don't have to worry about that. What he's missing is learning the playbook and building chemistry with his teammates. He's coming from a pro system so in all honesty, I think he'll be fine if he signed midway thru the preseason.

Papz,
One open question that I asked the forum once before but didn't get a response to is blitz pickup packages. Is Bush expected to be prepared to take on 240 lb linebackers and big fast safeties in the blitz? SFIAH |

RE: Brees isn
My opinion is that it wouldn't take him that long to make that adjustment because he's been playing for Pete Carroll for the past 3 years. I know he didn't have to block much during college because he was such an intricate part of the offense, but I'm pretty sure Carroll taught him a thing or two. He's big enough, smart enough, and athletic enough to accomplish anything on the field... it might take a couple of games or two, but we aren't expecting him to carry the bulk of the load in the back field as it is. He'll learn a lot from Deuce and Karney on the sidelines. Rookies make mistakes and he'll make his fair share before he takes over full time... next season. If our front line can do their job, it'll make every thing much easier.

RE: Brees isn
And the way i see it Bush will be in motion alot so he wouldn't be in blitz pickup much.
