Loomis on NFL Radio

just got in from hearing Loomis on Sirius, He said the reason Reggie didn't make his Sunday flight was because his bags weren't packed. What the hell, rookies usually sign the contract and walk across the street and get ready for practice. Man I hope this was just because he didn't think we would pay him what we did, instead of him being "not prepared".

RE: Loomis on NFL Radio

man o man talk about getting his balls busted by the other players. Bad enough being a rookie with the hazing but to now through in his mama to get him ready for a road trip. that will be to funny. with the contract he should have flown in on a private flight out of his reps pocket. then shopped in jackson to help the local economy. I understand straw hats and bib overalls are on sale at KMart this week.

Was there anything else interesting he talked about besides Bush?

he just touched on Duece being physically able but mentally still being cautious, and that they have Drew on a "pitch count". They asked if Drew would play in the first preseason game and Loomis declined to say.

I wouldn't play him in the first game even if he was ready to play. I'd stay cautious with him... he's very vital to our chances of accomplishing anything this season. Rather safe than sorry. No point really in putting him in for a series and yanking him out.

they don't usually play significant time until weeks 2 and 3 of the preseason.
