ROSTER MOVE: To make room for Reggie Bush on the roster, the Saints waived linebacker Bobby Iwuchukwu.

LBs are getting thinner and thinner by the day

There was no realistic chance that Iwuchukwu (what a name!) would make the team. He's a camp body.

Simmons though... Sigh... You give a guy a chance and he blows it.

I wish I could afford to blow off a $1.5 million salary. Family problems or no family problems, I'd have my butt in camp. Custody issues can be handled by lawyers IMHO.

So you would blow off the kids and be able to focus on football? Some things are just more important IMO.

Agreed. Assuming Simmons is going through a custody battle, then I think that's something that a man has to take care of first.
