It seems to be the consensus that Dev has come a long way. He is catching everything around him. He has made some spectacular catches since i've been here. Plus he's working as the #2 reciever right now. I really think Stallworth's problem is the fact that Dev is playing ahead of him. Donte has started to perk up, but it seems that he has found his way into Payton's doghouse for now.

Stoutmire and Bullocks seem to be leading the race for the spots.Roman Harper looks good for a rookie, but he's still a rookie.Bellamy and Scott will suffice if the other 2 get hurt. I just don't see how Gleason will make this team.

Love it, Love it....I would be sorry to see Lewis go, but I have said since camp started and he wasn't on the field that he was not going to make this team...I was hoping DH would step up...I was hoping Stallworth would pick it up a little but that does not seem to be happening...would Hate to see McAfee go...I jsut think having a veteran like that brings so many intangibles to the locker room...Kinda like a Derby horse's older stablemate....They keep the younger fast horses calm...I would like to see Haas make the team...You've said he looked great in camp...

How are the LB's looking on chemistry and working as a team?

How the OL looking?

Good questions. I wish I could answer them with some degree of confidence. However, with all the injuries in both positions it's hard to do.

I can say this, Fujita and Polly (before he got hurt) look good. Fincher has stepped up his game. Colby, as I said, is working harder than any of them. I haven't seen enough of Wade to know if he's going to help or not. So, in answer to your question, our starters look good but the depth is shakey.

On the offensive line, wow, injuries have been taken a toll here. Without Holland and Mayberry, it certainly hurts. When you have to play 2 rookies as starters you're in trouble. Having said that, maybe given enough playing time, hopefully they will gel into a unit that you can count on.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt!!!!!

Thanks Joe for the update on joey. this may be the last year for the kid with so much potential. This area of the team is one of my biggest worries. if one or god forbid two guys goes down I am afraid we are sunk. I was hopining he would start to show something and lock down the nickle back this year and be ready to make a push for the #2 next. does not sound good. We might have to invest in a high priced in FA or a high draft pick next year. I am still hoping it is earlystill. Rather see the money or pick go to another position, OT,LB

Hey Joe......how about Mike Haas & Marques Colston? Haven't heard anything on them lately. Do they still look good? Think they'll make the roster?

Both look good. Never drop balls. Whether they'll make the team is still to early to tell. If they keep up the good work and someone falls, yea they'll make it. Hass has the better chance, I think but Colston has surprised many in camp.

I hope they make it. Hell.....get a decent pick for Stallworth & put these 2 guys with Devery & Joe Horn. Two speedsters & two sure hands guys sounds like a squad at WR to me.
