this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; ....needs to start packing. This guy is unbelievable at how bad he bites on every play. I can't stand watching him cover, it makes me shudder when the opposing QB drops back to pass....

I'd rather have the Titans mascot out there in pass coverage.

Anwar Phillips and Grant Mason looked good out there
Lay and J.Thomas were good defenders as well, physical an more, but I hope Craft gets the boot cause he really doesnt have a brain |

Craft got burnt all night long (as usual). We've got to cut this plug sooner or later.

anwar philips and grant mason looked good?! was that a joke? philips got toasted all night long and mason was an absolute idiot for trying to field that one punt.... phillips, while i was high on him, was good vs. the run, but is an absolute liability vs. the pass.... that's not good considering that's what he's supposed to be good at.... our pass defense wasn't good, but their pass offense (mainly wr not catching the ball) was worse.... you'll see when we play the colts on the 26th....

I agree with the general sentiment. It is amazing how bad Craft actually is. How this guy is still in the NFL is beyond me. Maybe he's a stud in practice, or something. B/c 30 seconds of film should show a coach all he needs to see.
