Trade Sully and Gandy = cap room in 2007
cut smith = cap room in 2007 sign a group of LB to 1 yr. contracts = cap room in 2007 whodat in addition for 2006 to make more cap room in 2007? Donte? Henderson? Beerman?,,,,,,,,,,, So I think me see a trend here. 1 or 2 FA add in 2007 for the big bucks, keep the guys you want and still have some money for additional shopping. stock pile picks to go into the draft and target the ones you want and wheel & deal to get them. now you got a new young team with quality young Vets. leadership that will be with the team for at least 4 to 6 years, now that is a plan. |

To answer your Question honestly I would say that either Colston, or Jones could play Stallworth's position. Colston is a beast with great hands, and Jones looks like another Joe Horn to me. In fact, I believe Chris Horn could do it. They wont be quite as fast, however they all have much better hands.

I thought it was odd when I watched the Raiders/Vikings game and the announcers were talking about how Brad Childress wanted players of high character that wouldn't be in the news for negative reasons, etc., etc. and one of their starting safety's is Dwight Smith. |
