Predictions for 2003-2004
What are your Predictions for the upcoming season? I am going to start from tomorrow to after next years draft(this will be no where close to right). We will sign two more Free Agents this year. Probably Victor Green and a June 1 cut MLB (hopefully Al Wilson, probably a back-up from a cap strapped team). If Smoot or Springs is cut, I expect us to go after one of them. Horn will get his contract, Brooks will heal and Grady will enter training camp at 340 lb. We will go into the season with starting line-up of:
QB-Brooks HB-McAllister FB-T. Smith WR-Horn, Stallworth TE-Conwell LT-Gandy LG-Folau C-Jacox RG-Bentley RT-Riley DE-Grant, Howard DT-Sullivan, Jackson OLB-Aleen, Hodge MLB-Ruff CB-Carter, Ambrose(if a FA is not signed) FS-Jones SS-Mitchell K-Carney P-Berger They will go 3-1 in the preseason Then proceed to go 11-5 and win a wildcard slot, as the 5th team(Philadelphia, TB, St. Louis, Green Bay, NO, Minnesota). They will beat St. Louis, Beat Tb and them lose to Philly in NFC Championship game. McAllister will rush for 1350 yards, Horn and Stallworth will both go over 1000 yards, we will end up with the best TE's in the league, and line will be superb. Defense is going to be better. Howard & Grant will have over 10 sacks. Sullivan will have 7 sacks. Ruff will end up with over 100 tackles. Carter or Ambrose will have 5 interceptions. In the off-season, we sign a top CB (Bailey, Springs, Woodson someone like that) and then draft a CB, T and a MLB depending on what we get the rest of this year and then next year through Free Agency. Of course this will all be wrong, but just what could happen. |

Amen to that. But optimism is something we have been lacking in here lately. Glad to see it. You go Cooky.

Predictions for 2003-2004
I\'ll take what you have, and make a few changes. I\'ll not speculate on who else we will sign this offseason, however.
QB-Brooks HB-McAllister FB-T. Smith WR-Horn, Stallworth TE-Conwell LT-Gandy LG-Folau C-Jacox RG-Bentley RT-Stinchcomb DE-Grant, Howard DT-Sullivan, Jackson OLB-Allen, Hodge MLB-Ruff CB-Carter, Ambrose(if a FA is not signed) FS-Jones SS-Mitchell K-Carney P-Berger They will go 1-3 in the preseason Then proceed to go 10-6 and win a wildcard slot, as the 5th team(Philadelphia, TB, Seattle, Minnesota, NO, New York). They will beat Minnesota, Beat Tb and them lose to Philly in NFC Championship game. McAllister will rush for 1500 yards, Horn and Stallworth will both go over 1000 yards, we will end up with the best TE\'s in the league, and line will be superb. Defense is going to be better. Howard & Grant will have over 10 sacks. Sullivan will have 7 sacks. Ruff will end up with over 60 tackles. Carter will have 7 interceptions to Ambrose\'s 3. |
