Our True needs are else where.
so far in the preseason i would say CB is the area of most need. now with Joey thomas gone. sad that a so so CB effects the depth so much. I would like a trade to be involved with this position not LB. mix and match what we got and then get CB and/or DT that can start or add some depth to the OT's.
Right now we have 1,2,3,(3-4),4,4.5.6 for the draft. we are looking good to build for the future through the draft like the Pats and other elite teams have done. Even with Edwards we will be lucky to get over 5 wins. a couple of bounces of the ball and we can get maybe 2 more. Who besides DE would you guys be willing to go after at CB, DT or OT. lets start some rumors of our own. I think the of the bills, they have to have some of the most best depth at CB in the NFL. maybe now we have enough picks to get Nate? |

RE: Our True needs are else where.
My picks for the future would be:
1 LB 2 DE/DT-most college players can play both slots...Go for a strong DE, that has spped and size(many of them) 3 S/CB-they're great players at S/CB, who's played the pos 3-4 OT 4 OT 4 WR 5 CB 6 Whatever pos we have trouble with that season |

Young CBs, young WRs, young, O-linemen; they don't seem to care that someone is a rookie, they are going to play them.

I saw we just keep all of our picks, maybe even trade down for more picks and rebuild the weak areas of this team next year. It's a little late in the game to get Donnie Edwards now - TC and preseason is pretty much over - doesn't really give him a fair shot to come in at MLB and lead this defense. The talent he does have would be negated by having to learn his new team and system.

RE: Our True needs are else where.
Our corners are in better shape than O-line, LB and Interior D-lineman. Our D-line needs to get pressure on the opposing Qb's...then we can gauge our corners. I agree, they are weak, but not the worst part of the squad!

GEEZ... if you don't get a rush or stop the run our CB's will not be able to cover a WR all freakin day. YOU HAVE TO STOP THE RUN, you HAVE TO BLITZ and put pressure on the QB so there is less time to cover a WR.
