Here's a stupid question about Michale Haynes!!!
Haynes was released by the Bears. He has played as a Defensive End throughout his career. Does anyone believe that he could be "converted" to play in the middle of the line as a tackle. If he was a #1 draft choice in 2003(the same year Hazbeen drafted "buffet Line Sullivan" because he was a "heckofaplayer.") he's still young and useful to us. Seems to me that we need more inside help than outside. Any ideas? Halo and JoeSam don't be shy here. Tell me what you think!!
Thanks. |

No telling. I think it has been mentioned on threads that a line on him was "not fast enough for the outside, not enough bulk for the inside." This staff doesn't lack on creativity IMO.

I look for him to spell in both places. He can gain bulk, it's hard to gain much speed.

Tony Bryant is a great role player that we shouldn't have cut.
Who's going to block field goals for us this season? I get the feeling Haynes is just another overhyped d-lineman from that particular draft. Sullivan was drafted the same year and he's the definition of bust. I got a baaaaad feeling about this one. |
