Bush Limelight
I don't know about you but I am liking the attention the Saints are getting a lot just cuz of Reggie. This morning there are articles from all over about him and the team, not just a rehashed wire story repeated.

Bush is the next Marshall Faulk, he can do it all, and is going to ressurect the New Orleans franchise, and possibly end the poverty and dissention in the Big Easy (with help...). http://www.worldgolf.com/newswire/br...kend-in-review |

RE: Bush Limelight
National commercials help a lot. I'm glad a Saints player is getting this kind of hype, but is anyone else disappointed that he's not wearing any Saints id? I can understand it for Adidis, Nike & Reebok have the NFL contracts. But diet Pepsi had him wearing black, but the last two years the other players were in Pats uniforms for those commercials. I like the hype, but wish more of it added the team into the mix.

Didn't he have on the gold spikes again? Adidas will gladly pay the fines for the advertising (which Reggie should keep his yap shut about). But after a few warnings a suspension will come into play.

The team gets a cut if he uses the uni's or the logo in a commercial. I guess that Benson didn't want any of the royalties from the commercial. I don't care how rich you are, if someone's giving you free money, take it.

He needs to lose those shoes. He slipped all over the field during the game.

Remember that brouhaha from the preseason regarding Reggie Bush's decision to defy the NFL and wear shoes bearing adidas logos in his preseason debut? The problem initially was solved when adidas supplied him with plain shoes having no markings, and thus requiring no tape to obscure the logo.
On Sunday, Bush was back in his adidas. So what happened? Did he decide to thumb his nose at the league again? Did adidas promise to funnel him under the table whatever cash was necessary to pay the ensuing fines? No, and no. As it turns out, adidas was added last week as one of the official suppliers of shoes and gloves for NFL teams, joining Reebok (which adidas owns), Nike, and UnderArmour. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm |

Adidas signed a contract with the NFL last week allowing Bush to wear the shoes.

Did everyone enjoy Ditka slamming the Texans and dissing Mario Willliams as much as I did. One time he was talking about Bush and said sarcastically, "...well, he's no Mario Williams for sure." and the rest of the cast cracked up.
Then there was poor pathetic Charlie Casserly on CBS still trying to justify the Williams pick. I don't get a lot of pleasure from too many people's failure but Williams 3 tackle-no sack kind of games will only make Reggie's exclamation point all the bigger. |

No Vikings players jerseys are among the top 25 sellers in the NFL, although former Viking Randy Moss' Oakland Raiders jersey ranks No. 5. New Orleans Saints rookie Reggie Bush's jersey is No. 1, and the Green Bay Packers' Brett Favre's No. 14.
