Injury updates on FBs? Can Branch play FB if need be?
Did you notice only one 3 and out the whole game. I bet it has been years since seeing that. Didn't also feel strange to never be behind in a game 8) We ran 71 plays, more than any other team in the league. Ball control/good game plan 8 of 9 WR completions were on first down |

Two teams allowed less than 200yds. Baltimore and... can ya believe it? The number 2 defense in the league goes to Green Bay next week.

My only concern going into GB is that Farve was shutout this week. So he, and the team, are going to try to come out guns blazing. On the other hand, it is GB (and they really are bad.)

The Falcons defense also had a good day. Allowing Carolina 215.

Last year, GB was what, 0-3 or 0-4 and just came off a bad loss, and they shellacked us. While I do not expect that again this season, it may not be an easy win. We barely got by Cleveland.

Agreed. We need to turn those Field Goals into Touchdowns, which I think we can do and we need to prove that the Defensive Line performance in Cleveland was not just a fluke.
Favre will still pick apart our secondary, which is young at safety and questionable at Quarterback.... but if our D line can stop Green and pressure Favre we should win this one. |

Actually there is no team in the league I'd rather play than the Packers. Favre will get frustrated and make dumb decisions. He has a great chance of becoming the all time INT leader. Our secondary needs to keep their eyes open, they should be able to get 3 picks without much effort this weekend.
Favre looked awful yesterday. All we need to do is control the ball and get ahead of Green Bay, then watch Favre self destruct. |

I liked this comment from a fanatsy site-
Marques Colston caught four passes for 49 yards and a touchdown in his first NFL game. Unbelievable first-day performance by the seventh-round rookie. He's the type of player Mike Williams is supposed to be. Drew Brees keyed on Colston in the red zone especially, making him worth a look for your bench in deep fantasy leagues. |
