Conversely, Leach and Gado were deemed to be not good fits for what McCarthy is trying to accomplish in his first season with the offense.
Leach was without peer in the backfield as a punishing blocker. Yet, the Packers’ new zone-blocking scheme doesn’t require a bulldozer plowing from the fullback position. What’s more, Leach was a liability as a pass catcher http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=93&p=2&c=568939 |

2 because Haynes needed to be cut and Joseph went IR. Sounds like Leach is a legitimate FB, better than McIntyre, who was signed before Leach was waived. I don't doubt even if they wanted McIntyre more that Leach could be brought in just for grilling this week about the Packers playbook-- all 9 pages of it.
