I pay close attention to a coach's game plans, the ability to overcome injuries in the lineup, winning on the road, innovations and the intangibles assistant coaches bring to the table and go unnoticed to the average fan......

Doug Marone, offensive line coach for the Saints. Marone left the Jets to take on the challenge of coordinating the Saints offense and coaching the offensive line. The Saints passed on retaining All-Pro center LeCharles Bentley in the offseason, and during the draft traded for Cleveland center Jeff Faine.....

Love it or rip it apart. I thought that the line played well against the Browns last week. It seems like all the pieces are falling in place to build a strong foundation for the years to come. Maybe not all-world but so far it has been formidable. Hopefully week two will bring more encouragement.
