this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Gee. Who'da thunk it. Two fumbles and an interception in the 1st quarter. Who's up for Atlanta? I hear they actually have a team. Not the defense's fault this week. Thanks Drew and Reggie and Deuce....

RE: It can
Why is it Reggie and Deuce's fault? Brees just need to be more aware and the O line need to do better but none of the turnovers were their fault.

Reggie is trying to bounce everything to the outside. Just head upfield. I agree though, I don't see how any of this is on Deuce. Drew got hit for two fumbles. He didn't see either coming. Especially the one by KGB. The INT, I actually missed it watching the Bucs an dAtlanta for a second. But we can still put it together.

Not saying we won't crap the game away in true Saints fashion later on, but these boys aren't giving up. On a team that obviously isn't very good, this is exactly what we need.

diff between this years team and last years is that we were able to work thru the problems and come back and win...great job of coaching in my opinion

This is all I ask for this season: play with heart; be competitive; don't quit.
That's what we got today. I'll be satisfied if they play like that all year and go 5-11, 6-10. The staff has proven to me that they're good talent evaluators and after another draft/FA we'll be able to start looking for winning seasons, etc. |
