Your thoughts on if we would have won this game last year.
No way.
We got our butts handed to us, same team but the coach was a little better. We play with heart now and when Brees was blowing it, Coach Peyton was all over him. We would have quit after the turnovers, the score would have been 30 to 7, then in the last few minutes of the 4th we would have made a run. Green Bay 37, Saints 17... in the same game a year ago (and it was worse a year ago.) |

Uh no. I agrree, would not have won last year.
Weren't we predicted to win only 3 games this year or was the just Kenny Wilkerson saying that? Well I wonder who we'll beat for our last win of the season. |

I was certain we'd lose the toss, then be down 7 after 10 seconds or so of the game
What's different is that it started that way. But we didn't fold. I mean, what, THREE turnovers in the first quarter, and we didn't fold. Something's different around here. I like it. |

Even if the Saints of 2005 won at GB last year, there were just too many issues on and off the field for that team to have succeded at any level. Inadequate personnel, a high school coaching staff, no leadership and a confused situation combined to get them. Even without Katrina, that team was going to go at best 4-12.
And no Reggie. |

The difference I see is what Jim Henderson and I talked about in training camp. This team has 2 things that a Saints team has lacked for a long time.

It showed tonight. Most teams, especially the Saints, would've folded after a start like that.
Discipline. I saw it tonight. How bizarre that is to say. But I like it. |
