I think that Payton's waiting until next year to fix the corners. Unless there's a gem lying unnoticed in FA, we're stuck with the Juke Out Brothers until March 1, 2007.
In the meantime, I'm waiting to see how our novice safeties whom Payton focused the entire preseason development attention on progress. So far, not so good. I know we won, but luck was on our side for several plays when these two were out of position. I wonder if Ron Mexico will be able to read them like Farve and Frye? |
