***Stop Dunn, then go after Vick***
I think the Saints stop Dunn right away and force Vick to win the game putting him in a lot of passing situations keeping him contained in the pocket, do not let him run outside, but again I think it's starts with stopping Dunn which I strongly feel the Saints can do, stop Dunn and Vick will have all the pressure.
Anyone remember the Bears playing the Falcons last year, they stopped Dunn in his tracks and they then with after Vick bringing his ass to the ground a few times, I think that Vick will never forget that game, I loved it being I HATE the Falcons (sorry if there are Falcon fans here) Also, we may just simply out score them being the Falcons haven't put more than 14 points on the board yet this season but we scored over 30... If I'm Payton I run Deuce often in the first quarter and give Bush a few plays to mix it up with Deuce than I'd start a pass attack and see if the Falcons can stop us. (hard pat will be to protect Brees) Oh , I'd tell my guys that if that get close to Vick to hit him with everything they got in them and to do this often to make Vick think twice about running outside, I want him to pay dearly, nothing would make me feel happier.. Go Saints.. I thought about the upcoming game Monday night and feel that we have a good chance at beating them Falcons, if we play smart we win and will then be 3-0 WOOOOOooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOOO |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

I hope the coaching staff has figured out how they will defense the option play that Vick has been running with Dunn this past game. That was killing the Bucs.
Scoring early is crucial though. They need to set the tempo by creating more of a sense of urgency for the Falcons. We need to make Vick beat us though, and stopping Dunn is the first step. |

Forcing long marches against their defense will give us more of an advantage. I think that our D will improve over the game, so I'm more concerned with scoring against the Falcons' defense. If we can't move the ball, we won't win the game no matter how our D does against Vick and Dunn.

No one is going to out run Hall, not even Reggie. However, Colston has a good 6 inches and 30 pounds on D. Hall and can physicially domintate him in short to intermediate routes. That's one thing that they need to do....have Colston punish Hall every play.
Other than stopping Dunn, protecting Brees will be the next most important issue. We protect Drew adequately and we will get our points. Like I said in my previous post I agree with Longtime....stopping Dunn is #1 priority, and I don't know how they plan to do this. All of this is easier said than done though(no pun intended). |

Stallworth and DH always outrun Hall
They'll double Horn leaving physical Colston out there for a good game, as well that no LB nor Safety can run with DH |

Stay in your lane.
That is the key to stopping the Vick and Dunn running show. over persue and Dunn will cut back all night. losing pocket containment and vick will kill you. Stay at home. that should be the song for the defense this week. |
