Words can not express

What it was like being at this game. Just no string of words can do it justice. Easily at the top of my Saints memories for the past almost 30 years. Wow. Oh and ghandi, i'll be ordering that Colston jersey shortly.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so pumped, even 2 hours after the game. Whata way to come back home. And you know what...I'm ordering that Colston jersey too.. See ya in the store Whodi...

Noone would've predicted that the falcons wouldn't score a TD, hold Dunn under a 100 total yds, & Win this game....This saints defense is great........Like my M. Irvin said " I BELIEVE"......NOW I believe in this D.....WHODAT!!!!!!!!......I like Bush but Colston look more like "Rookie of the Year".

I am still excited about this win and will be until next week against Carolina.

I had to watch the game in the dark in my room because it was from 130-5 in the morning here. My roommates were asleep and all I could do was silently pump my fists and dance around. But it was the greatest Saints game I've ever watched. Whodi, I envy you.

saintfan 09-26-2006 08:41 AM

You know what I like? Looking at the Falcons Icon across the board on all the "expert" picks on ESPN a few days ago. Those boys are eating a heavy dose of crow this morning.

My brother called me several times from the game. I couldn't hear a word he was saying, but no matter, he'd been drinking since about noon yesterday. LOL That place was ROCKING, so to all of you that went to the game, thanks for giving me one helluva 3 hour chill last night. I did what I could. I wore my saints "T" and cap and had the baby dressed in her Saints onesie. Woke her up twice too. :)

I believe this is the first significant Saints game I've missed in over 30 years. I've been to all of the home playoff games. I was even in the last game against the Falcons in December 2004. I remember Hakim dropping the ball.

i might be able to come close to sum up wat it was like to be at that game: incredible.
the crowd was still booing and making noise on the falcons last drive. the atmosphere was just crazy. a chilling experience to see new orleans come together like that

Well...I reaggrevated my groin injury by jumping up and down like a caged gorrila in a zoo when Gleason blocked that punt. This game was incredible...I stayed up for hours watching highlight after highlight on ESPN and the NFL network. My wife was in tears watching the intro. The whole thing was amazing. Thank you local Saints fans for making my living room sound like nothing I have ever heard before.

The only thing that bothers me is........the next excuse. First it was....we beat Cleveland. Then it was...we beat two bad teams. Now its.....we played out of emotion. I hate that crap!!!!

I watched every ounce of pregame, game, and post-game. My only wish is for somehow to have NFL network replay the game so I can capture it. There was so mjuch coverage my tivvo could not handle ALL that time.

Now lets go and kick Carolina's overrated arses. :saintsfan:

I only watched the game on t.v. but it was amazing. I think that was one of the best Saints games I've seen. The defense looks good, the offense looks good. Every faze of the game was great for the Saints.

I went to the game last night...with my wife...really because i just wanted to be there when the Saints came home. I was fully expecting the Saints to come out fired up, to a pumped up crowd, make a few plays early and then have the Falcons outplay them in the end. Last night, i was sitting in my seat, in the terrace, just waiting for the Falcons to make a run...but it never happened. I cant believe how loud it was in there. My wife cant talk because of all the screaming she did. I will never forget the feeling i got from this game. The inspiring song "The Saints are coming"...the eruption after the blocked punt...and just the steady cheering for 4 straight hours...the Falcons didnt have a chance. God Bless the Saints, the NFL, the city, the state, the fans...WOW!

Best Saints game I have ever seen. We just won our superbowl. I hope we continue to roll right into the playoffs... but even if we dont, we just won our most important game ever.

I have never heard the dome so loud for an entire game. It was amazing. Hell....even after the game you could hear chants of "Who Dat!" all the way from the dome to Metarie! This was the single greatest Saints game I have ever been to......simply amazing!

Whodi.....I've got two of those Colston jerseys......one black & one alternate gold. That boy beat DeAngelo Hall (considered one of the best corners in the league) like a Bass drum!!!! Colston will be the offensive rookie of the year!
By the way.....your boy (Donte Stallworth) was at our hotel. I retract all the negative posts I may have made about the guy. He seemed to be a down to earth & classy guy.....not the premadonna I thought he was. He said he was there just to cheer his friends & former teammates on. I hope he has a big year in Philly....just not against us.

Good to hear. It was a great time. Too. And I am glad Donte was cool with you. I wish the dude well.

yasoon 09-27-2006 09:42 AM

Did espn mention that Donte was there?

To me, that deserves a mention. When a guy gets a DUI, it's the first thing on the news.

Give Stallworth some credit for taking the time to show up and prove that he still has a stake in the community.

Hats off to Donte for not turning his back on the city. That is a classy move.
