The When Did You Lose It thread
 

First, I regret oh so much not being at the game, I had to watch it on TV. Still, "I got something in my eye" a couple times even when being far away from the Big Easy and watching the game on TV.

I don't know if they showed it in the Dome, but before the game, there was a bit in church where a preacher was giving a sermon about the game, and the choir starts singing "When The Saints Go Marching In". My wife must've been cutting a very large onion, because tears started flowing from my eyes when I heard that number.

Being at the game, I think mine was when they ran out onto the field to start the game. Somewhere along in the stomping, clapping, and screaming my lungs out, I managed to let a tear or two swell up in my eyes.

Seeing Joe Horn lead the team onto the field. And then the U2 Green Day performance of "The Saints are coming!".

I had to be careful not to let the family see me.. i teared up real good.

Well the saints coming out I was loud ya know but when gleason came running threw that line and blocked the punt and we got a touchdown that is when I went insane!!!

I was laughing like a madman. My wife just looked at the TV and asked what happened. I turned around and said the game's over we've won. I had no doubt.

I lost it a few times and can't remeber when the first time was. I lost it pretty good though when the preacher was giving his sermon right before the singing. I have not lived in LA since '97. I am going to Corpus Christy soon for two years then I am COMING HOME BABY!!!
