RE: Saints Game most watched sporting event on ESPN........E
I won the Monday night primetime battle. More people tuned into ESPN than did the 'big four'.

No biggie and nothing personal at all, it is probably just the excitement about the team, but I am seeing an increase in articles posted that have already been posted like this one (yesterday). One of my biggest likes about this forum has been the absence of the large amout of chaff you have to sift through to get real info (versus so-called bigger Saint sites). Take a few minutes to scan through the first page before adding and I think it will help the quality over quantity approach continue.
Related, I also like that most people post real responses to threads here. Another dislike I have that is seen at some sites is a okay article, link, or viewpoint posted but then there are 10 replies that are nothing but an emoticon or a "right on" or "that sucks" response before you come to another that actually has some thought put into it, then 10 more emoticons. Maybe it's just me but I like to learn something new and try to contribute something when I check in here, whether it is 6 times a day or once every 6 days. |

Finally, we win won on the big stage! Not only was this a big stage, but it was the BIGGEST (ESPN-wise). That's incredible! We're a totally different team. This new staff is really impressing me.
Also, emoticons are lame. I try to use them as little as possible in my posts. |
