"After Carolina Whips the Saints and Atlanta destroys the Cardinals this will be the new tune around here. Well Aints welcome to reality! Everyone knew you weren’t all that good. You beat 2 terrible teams and Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah you beat Atlanta in your 3 game streak but that game was, um, uh, well, you know what everyone’s been saying! Mark my words hehe" But on the brightside, reading delusional comments from overconfident fans get's me pumped. http://www.panthershuddle.com/forum/...me-sunday.html The link above if anyone wants to read any of the dribble. Crow, crow. |

Thanks for posting that. Pretty big talk from a team that could barely eke out 1 piddly little win against a team with a quarterback that was, you know, ALMOST DYING!

Did anyone catch the thread in the Panther's forum where a guy claimed he was going to shout 'Katrina' at the game? The Panther Nation went after the guy, blasting him endlessly and telling him what a jerk he was. They even went as far as to say if a Saint's fan didn't beat him down a Panther's fan would. That's pretty cool, that's the kind of opposing fans that make the rivalries fun and enjoyable, we fiercly defend our teams but when someone steps out-of-line humanity steps in. Hats off to the panthers fans that stood up when it counted.

Virtually every game in the NFL is a tough game! Because of the talent pool and the hard, hard salary cap teams in the NFL are very even. It takes a good organization, excellent coaching, and a bit of luck to be successful. One injury and you're going from a playoff team to a lottery team. Philly went from the SB to losing all 6 of its division games last year due to McNabb being out for example. OTOH when the pieces fall together it can give you enough of an edge to make a run. The Saints have upgraded the talent, greatly upgraded the coaching, and seemed to have quickly gelled. Have you notice that no one has anything awful to say about the O-line? It was predicted in the offseason that the O-line would be the worst in the NFL, literally 32nd out of 32 teams. Same for the defense. Get some NFL linebackers, not studs mind you, just actual NFL linebackers, put Hollis Thomas, a big vet in the middle, and coach them up and you get what can only be termed a really good defense. Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

In all my travels I would have to put the NFC South as the most fan friendly in the NFL. I have never really got into to much trouble within the division on road trips.
Always good food and drinks and plenty of friendly hate to go around. I do miss the LA fans. they were the worse. But that was way back in the NFC west days. |
