Hey SuperbowlSaints who do you think our starting lineup is made out of? All of our starting LBs have little if any starting experience. Appearantly they have seen something they like about this guy, and if Miami is smart they wont cut him on June 1st for that reason. They will hold him and cut him during pre season.

You guys are creeping me out with all of this licking. Anyway, trading for Rogers is not a good move. I think you wait and see what fruit may fall when the trees get shaken on June 1st.

Rodgers hasn\'t been a bench warmer though. He\'s been a starter since 1997 with the Dolphins and a 7 year veteran. Clearly they feel that he is not advancing to the level they require in an OLB and they think a long-in-the-tooth Junior Seau is a better alternative for the short term and to help groom their top pick from this year\'s draft. We are, however, potentially getting a throwaway from a pretty decent defense, that could mean he is better than what we have to offer now.
This doesn\'t get me excited about our LBers though. |

So, lumm0x, would you say that the Dolphins went with experience over speed in this case? :P

IMO, We don\'t need him. Let\'s just be patient and see how these kids at LB we have end up.
More important (for all who don\'t like our CBs) -- Did you guys see that list of names in FA next year! A #24 Bailey jersey would be way up on my lst of Christmas gifts for next season. Not that it\'ll happen, but hey -- Saints fans can dream... |

pak,
Put the cart a little before the horse b/c he is in the last year of his deal (as are the others listed) but I found the names on tweek\'s link. Woodson, Plummer, Winfield, McAlister and Vincent are also due up next year. Not to mention the crop of possible draftees. With the way we picked up Ambrose, managed our cap by letting go fat contracts or potential cap busters like Clemons, Knight and Hand, I think Loomis and Haslett may be setting up for next year already. What ya\'ll think? |
